ugh, I hit 'enter' by mistake and posted my comment before I was done typing.

Anyway, that comment was about the first image (top of the page). Focus aside, this is definitely the 'hero' image for me.

My eye is also drawn to the image called 'pl38'. (You really need some way for us to identify images. The only way i can specify a particular image is by digging out the filename).

Anyway, p138: I love the composition, complimenting colors, and the contrasting material-textures. VERY 'pro'. I'm really impressed!!

The 3rd from the bottom is very cool. Very effective lighting: it is very dramatic, but no 'harshness'. Nice! A strong key light can really cut up a face -- but you got it soft. Well done!

4th from the bottom has great, consistent, color temperature. I'm not sure if you got this with practical lights - or in post ... but I like the look.

This image it echos my feeling on the whole series: the power is in the simplicity. All images feel restrained, controlled, and disciplined. Nothing looks 'over-produced'. All compositions have very clear sight lines - and almost zero distracting elements.

On the first image, my eye wanders off into the top right corner. The material change (to wood) pulls away from the subject. I'd suggest two things: (1) stamp brick over the wood (2) burn some vignette into both right-side corners (just enough to match what you have going on the left side)

Great stuff Koz!
(nice site also!)

fantastic. I really love the composition and style.

It looks like the auto-focus hit the elbow ... but that is just a silly tech issue ... the visual is great
